Mommy & Emily Sleepover

Emily has been dying to have a sleepover, so I decided to have a mommy/Emily sleepover to see how she would do. We pulled the mattresses off of her bed and put them in the playroom next to each other. We did a few spa treatments and watched a Tinkerbell movie before calling it a night and giggling ourselves to sleep. We had so much fun, I can't wait to do it again!

We took Emily bowling for the first time and she LOVED it! We will definitely do this again soon!

Daddy-Daughter Date Night

Fouad and Emily continued their tradition of Daddy-Daughter Date Night at Chick-fil-a, but this year they had an extra person tag along! That's right, daddy took both of his daughters to date night! They had so much fun!

Happy New Year! Avery - 5 months!

Avery is five months old! Here are some of her stats from this month:

* Rolls back to front and front to back.

* Rolled over swaddled...which meant we had to stop swaddling! 

* She is currently in a size 3 diaper and 6 month clothes are getting tight. 

* Can put paci in by herself if she has it in her hand. 

* Grabs and holds toys. 

* Sits at high chair at dinner at home. 

* Has a tooth bud and is putting everything in her mouth!

* Loves the jumparoo!

* Smacks her lips when watching us eat 

Christmas 2014

We had an amazing Christmas this year with Emily and Avery! Our sweet big girl was excited about Santa visiting. She made sure to wake us up bright and early on Christmas morning. Even with all of the excitement, sweet Emily made sure she gave me the gift that she picked out for me first. It was a lovely pair of snowman socks! :-) 

The thing that Emily wanted most this Christmas from Santa was a dollhouse. After opening all of her gifts under the tree, we headed to the fire place to see what Santa had left in our stockings. Here's a video of Emily opening her Santa gifts:

Avery had a great time with her new exersaucer too! We had a great morning relaxing and preparing for Christmas dinner with the whole family at our house. Another amazing Christmas in the books!

Avery - 4 Months!

Our baby is already 4 months old! Here are some highlights from this month:

* Avery LOVES her sister! We have pulled up to car line to get Emily from Pre-K with Avery crying and as soon as she sees Emily she is all smiles. 

* She's rolling side to side, and has managed to get to her tummy once. She loves to use her arms and legs to reach for her toys on her play mat. 

* She's starting to laugh without being tickled. Emily and Daddy are the best at getting her to laugh at silly faces, but Mommy gets laughs with peek-a-boo!

* She is responding to her name!

* She's really starting to like her pacifier. 

* Avery has a favorite noise which Emily calls the "mustard bottle!"  Bpppptttt!
